Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would live to see the day a black man would become a major candidate for prez.

Too many of us remember the days of segregated schools, segregated communities, riots, murders and assasinations of progressive types who tried to bring the different colors of our society together.

I will never ever forget coming down to Miami Beach in the 60's as a little kid and staying at the Thunderbird Hotel and seeing a sign for a bathroom in the basement that said "colored maids"....

And congratulations to McCain for picking a woman to be his vice-president-Gov Palin of Alaska.

What a smart move this was.....After Obama picked Biden and knowing both Clintons were going to completly endorse Obama in Denver, McCain made a BRILLIANT move picking a lady (Miss Wasilla 1984) to be the VP.
